Though I am forced to admit it was a collaborative effort, with most of the heavy lifting done by the other author.
3am on June 10th saw the publication of Daniel Morgan Cottinelli, pictured below congratulating his old man on his maiden nappy change.
And here he is again, when we told him his old man makes a living writing SF and Fantasy:
Dimly, through the veils of sleep deprivation, I feel the tectonic rumble of my whole life slipping into a new alignment.
Champagne!

Congratulations, you look both beautiful!
Congratulations! I’m a bit late to the party I see, hopefully things will be getting easier now that you’re past the first three months. You’re probably now acclimatised to being woken up repeatedly during the night. Come to think of it, that’s probably a form of torture somewhere in the world.
I’m looking forward to seeing how fatherhood affects your worldview and your writing. I’m a father of a one year old daughter named Maya, and she has sure changed my worldview in numerous subtle and not-so-subtle ways.
I wish you and your new family all the best
Craig
I hope this means that you’re not ‘going soft’, and I expect many more outpourings against the many injustices in the world!
(Perhaps you and Mark Thomas should get together? Just a thought)
Anyway, Congrats and all the best.
Cheers
Colin
That is a damn cute baby. And I say that as a mama to a damn cute kid who once was a damn cute baby.
My only problem with the analysis is given that much of the population joined the chorus of deregulatory mythology, given vested interest is inclined toward perpetuation of the current system and given a lack of a popular cheerleader for your arguments
